Is it diesel?
Came here looking for a diesel comment. Was not disappointed.
Came here to make a diesel comment. Was beaten to it.
+1 locutus and nocure sentiment…
pretty sure you can modify it and make a electric car
it's powered by lego and collectability
The VW scandal is so big, I heard even the Lego VW cars are being emissions tested
The Lego ones may have been what they used to get their results, or at least included them in the average.
Just missing the swastika on the side
*0.00 mpg
Can someone please do the calculations for me and figure out how much it would cost to buy new pieces and change it from red to yellow?
Wife has disapproved purchase unless it's the same colour as the one from her childhood.
Might be easier just to paint it

thats not even funny
Whipped.
308 red parts, rough guess is that it will be over $100 (most likely even more) not inclusion shipping from bricklink
If you download the pdf instructions, at the back it lists all the parts…

As for getting all yellow bricks, you could check out eBay. I've bought individual bricks that way, but it does add up.
Or you could buy a Basic Lego set that has a range of bricks. Or check out Gumtree and see if anyone is selling a kilo or two of random bricks.
Hope this helps.
Just as feedback on this Lego product, we purchased this for our son last Xmas and it was a real hit. It sits in a prominent place in the house and many people comment on it.
It doesn't hurt that my son decided to "upgrade" it and include numerous Star Wars pieces/parts as well as Storm Troopers, Darth Vader and others.
Hahaha laughing at all the VW jokes. Keep it coming.
I came here for the comments…..
i came here for the comments.
i also drive a vw.
Now if only it were a Mindstorms version with 2 different operating modes.
Features:
• Ages 16+ (MAYBE A DIFFERENT AGE UPON FURTHER INSPECTION)
• 1332 pieces (FOR A FEE, WE CAN MAKE IT ANY NUMBER OF PIECES YOU WANT)
• Moveable parts (MOVEABLE STATISTICS)
• Rear door opens to reveal detailed engine (JUST PLEASE DON'T START IT!)
how is it that I can't find this item online when just browsing through the LEGO that's available? Do they have like a 'hidden' Lego section?
if you find out let me know I got the same problem..
Sales have been ceased due to emissions cheat device fitted :)
