Hi,
I need some advice on hotel accommodation in Singapore, we're just staying for 4 nights, but need something handy and reasonable priced (that's the hard part), looking at 4 star hotels as the wife's requirement. Budget around $150-$200.
Thanks

Hi, we stayed recently in the Elizebeth hotel, was cheap, clean tidy pretty nice actually and close to the Orchard Road where all the action is
I've stayed there, good hotel
Hotel 81 on Bencoolen St. Close to everything!
You can try RELC International @ http://www.relcih.com.sg/
V Hotel Lavender is pretty budget for Singapore standards and directly above Lavender MRT.
I stayed there for a few days and then moved to Marina Bay Sands to end the trip. Amazing pool!
Haha that's exactly what i did! the first 3 days i stayed in V hotel then a day in marina bay
Swissotel Merchant Court is very convenient to stop NE5 (I think) on the MRT line. We have picked it up for between $120 and $160 SGD per night. Alsoa shopping centre next door with a large food court and pharmacy.
what site did you book to get $120 to $160?
I do apologise - I was not aware this question had been answered. Direct with the hotel.
People still care about stars? ^^"
Wish I could help, but all of those I can think of off-hand are 3- or 3.5-star. Moon Hotel, V Hotel, Ibis. Good luck with your search!
I'd suggest you look at anything within a short distance to the MRT. This allows you cheap and easy mobility around Singapore.
I usually stay at family's apartments when there, but did stay in January at the Royal Hotel on Scott. It was close to the main hub on Orchard Rd - 5 star and cost me $150 a night (without breaky but there's plenty of places for cheap food).
Check out Naumi Liora boutique heritage listed hotel in chinatown. Very small but good rooms. Free snacks including mini ice creams and got drinks in the lobby area.
Stay away from the CARLTON SINGAPORE (4*) - They tried to con us out of our booking!
gaylang 8 … cheap hotels… as long as u can handle hookers loittering
I stayed at the Village Albert Court, was in a great location and is about $160 a night, they have outdoor spa's as well
