  you need council permission/permit, we went through the process to advertise our events and found it was too much of a headache.

  Thanks… Hm… What about trailers that have fixed (painted/vinyl) signs - do you happen to know if it's the same?

  What I'm thinking is, people put stickers, for sale signs, etc. on their own cars - park them on the side of the road. And lawn mowing businesses have their details on their trailers… I wonder if we could do something like that - even if we had to leave the trailer hitched to a car and parked - or painted it on the side of a van, or a bus… if that would still require permission?
