I don't even know what a Chiclet means, but looks like a lot of functions for $35!

Chiclet keyboards are a type of membrane keyboard. Its the same type of mechanism as a standard laptop keyboard.

Lol, I was hoping this was a mechanical keyboard since its geared towards gamers, but then saw it was a membrane keyboard and was disappointed!

      • one does not simply get a mechanical keyboard for under 80. unless its a Chinese brand but why would you risk it.

Chiclet has nothing to do with the mechanism, it's just a design style. Island keys spaced out. Though it is generally found on laptops.

that's the part that caught your eye? not the fact that a keyboard is called "Razer Deathstalker "… loll … apparently aside from stalking and death u can also type with it..

  • Shame its just membrane keyboard…too common..

  • Do you have to install the software to get macro functionality?

    Currently using one atm.

Honestly would not go for it. Disregarding Razer Synapse (already a big negative in my books), the keys feel very odd to use, and just plain lock up sometimes (I try moving in a first person shooter and it sometimes jams and doesn't allow me to move in the direction I want).

$35 can easily get you a plain keyboard that functions better and let you save some money, or help you save up towards a mechanical keyboard (so many better brands out there, such as Ducky).

  • I bought one for $50 about a year ago, thought it was backlit but no. The writing is very hard to see in low light. I bought it for everyday use, and it's fine, but for gaming I'd day pay a bit more for backlit at least, plus the key feel isn't great either.

  • I bought this a year ago, absolutely awful keyboard… It was actually a different model to the image they used to sell it but I didn't bother to take it back because I needed a keyboard badly and I got it on a Saturday and would have had to wait until Monday to return so I just accepted the loss.
