  Great price. It's only ~$60 more for the S2 so I went with that instead. I think it will be better in the long run.

      Main differences are screen (S1 probably slightly better in theory) battery slightly larger on S1 but the new SoC on S2 is quite a bit more efficient so I don't think it will matter much "in the real world"…

      Really hate the gaudy white/gold colour though. It's disgusting. This is probably the main reason LOL!

      S2 probably has better "screen", as in more power efficient, improve version of the AMOLED (Judging from what usually happens with Note and S series and judging from how Tab S1 is first large screen AMOLED tablet that's above 8 inch (It was 3 years after Tab 7.7 came out)).
      To be honest, SoC alone might make the difference for many people; Exynos 5420/Snapdragon 800 cannot handle QHD well enough, 5433 is better and if Samsung releases the 64 bit kernel for it, the performance can go up even further. That said, I'd personally grab a S1 just for the screen ratio (16:10 is so much better for movies and such, 4:3 is better for websurfing and reading books and stuff, but I personally think AMOLED is better for movies).

    I upgraded from the S to the S2 and have no regrets. It's much smoother.
    People who use it primarily for watching videos might want to consider the 16:10 aspect ratio on the original S though.
