As part of the millions of SPAM emails I get for entering comps, one of them seemed somewhat useful.

Travelzoo is offering $15 off local deals using the code WELCOME15. This code only works on new accounts so just enter a different email address in there if you have an existing account.

They don't seem to have that much inventory compared to Groupon however here are possible highlights:

• $55 ($40 w/code) for $100 Spend on Food & Drinks @Zeta Bar, Hilton Sydney

• $69 ($54 w/code) — 3-Day Car Hire in Melbourne or Brisbane w/Free GPS, Save 30%

If you are traveling to NY, you can get discounted CityPasses from various places such as LMTClub for $137 AUD ($95USD), however Travelzoo has it for $144 AU

The eating and activity deals are centered around Victoria and New South Wales. Most of the other states don't have anything.

    Ah yeah, new accounts. Just put a different email address in there to get the discount.

  Just used it for a booking overseas and worked great. Just create a new account
