LG Nexus 4 (refurb) from GadgetGear.com.au vs Moto G (1st Gen) from Amazon

Was looking at the Moto G from Amazon (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/212397) and someone in the thread commented that a Nexus 4 (refurb) might be a better choice - Gadgetgear.com.au (http://www.gadgetgear.com.au/lg-e960-nexus-4-16gb-black-refu…)

From my reading it seems the Nexus 4 is slightly more powerful even though its a little older, but am a little hesitant to buy from Gadgetgear.com.au - there's no local contact info and some less than ideal comments about them on WP (albeit from a while ago now).

Is it a bad idea to consider the Nexus 4 from these guys?
Anyone had any positive / negative experiences with them?

I've also been looking at whats available with the current ebay 15% off promo, but nothing has stuck out so far!

All thoughts appreciated…

  • Between these two, I would definitely go for Nexus as it will be more powerful, with a better camera and so on.

If you want a cheap but capable phone, it might be worth considering buying Meizu m2. It will be faster than nexus, with larger screen, 4G support, better camera and battery. It will also work out cheaper than the Nexus deal. Here's a comparison of the specifications: http://www.kimovil.com/en/compare/lg-nexus-4,meizu-m2,motoro…

There's loads of sites selling it and it has been posted in the deals section here few times as well. You can get it for USD 121 delivered using coupon 1949deal0808 from here:
    http://www.1949deal.com/meizu-m2-mtk6735-64bit-quad-core-2-4…

Or another seller USD 127 delivered and you get a "free gift":

Both of these stores accept payments by Paypal, so this gives you extra protection and peace of mind knowing that you will get a full refund if your order doesn't show up.

    Hope this helps.
