Travel Backpacks advice (no check in, under $300)

Hey Guys, Im after a good travel backpack that is as big as possible without having to check in luggage, anyone bought anything decent, or found any decent cheaper brands? looking to spend as under $300 as possible. Thanks

I Bought the Aldi one recently and was very unimpressed.. Possibly something like this with a better price tag?

  • I use a Tatonka Barrel Bag Backpack 53cm Small (45L, 1.3kg) and pack a folding duffle bag (40L) which I got from Muji in Korea.
That way if I over pack/buy too much I can transfer to the 2nd one and buy check in luggage.

  • Kelty Redwing 44.

Great backpack, comfortable, removable hip strap.

    Carry-on size. Perfect!

I personally have the 5.11 Tactical Rush 72. It's large, comfortable and suits my needs. I think capacity is around 55L, although I'm not too sure. It's definitely well built and I have used it to fly before.

  • anyone posted this yet?

  • Blackwolf Monashee 40L. Been all over the world with me, barley fit into their checking cradle when it got checked for size when it was fully packed.
