I wanted to know what the best and longest lasting non-stick cookware is for frypans.
I have heard that it is the dark coloured stuff (not stainless steel) - bare cast iron - and that the best of these is Lodge cookware. However I have found a brand called Kookaburra that is cheaper than Lodge.
The other type I have heard is good is hard anodised cookware, and that the best of these is Circulon Symmetry cookware. However, I have found a cheaper alternative in Tefal.
Do you know of any better quality brands? Which brand is best? Also, should I just go for the cheaper versions? Please share your knowledge and experiences with me :-)
I was fed up with so called non stick frypans and their coating coming off etc.. so I asked a chef what would he recommend… he said stainless steel. I scored a top quality 30cm and 24cm from a recent Aldi special and very pleased with them.
There is a knack to cooking with stainless steel frypans, have a look on YouTube for the tips.
