lol. put on a bit of gloss.want to help but not too familiar on backyard especially old deck.
Remove the decking, have it tiled. Tiles always look good outside.
By the way, i'm a tiler, I can help you with that. ;)
Find a friend who has the internet and look up deck renovations.. :-(
Install Windows 10
go to ur local council page first
they will provide you will details on rules and regulations
in my council, you no longer have to ask for a permit if,
- it is smaller than 20 square metres
- you build it I think 70 cm from the fence
- no higher than 1 metre
- the roof must slant towards the roof (water follows into the gutter)if that is the case, u can build without approval
recommend you also talk to ur neighbours if you are building high and close to neighbour (saves u getting complains and having to tear it down!)
u might have storm water drains etc running under it and it might mean the deck needs to be pulled out if they need to repair it, but I guess that's a risk
