How to Remove Android app "TouchPal"?!?

While updating in Google Play,
I was reminded that I don't
use the Subj app.

So, I "Undeleted" it, or so I
thought. This took me to a
Browser survey (Why would you
delete our app?)

I chose a reason & did Submit,
only to find TouchPal -still-
on the list of installed apps!

Now, my choices are Open &
Update…

How to make it go away, so I
can later use Update All?

Did you install the app yourself previously or did it come with the phone? From what you've described of the options available - 'Open' and 'Update', it sounds like the app may have come with your phone when you bought it.

If you've installed it yourself after you got the phone, then try removing it from your phone using the "uninstall" option:

ie, 1. Go into Play Store to search for the app, then press the Uninstall button; or
    2. Go to Settings > Apps > Application > Uninstall; or
    3. Go to the apps and press the menu button and "Uninstall", then press the app icon; or
    4. Try log into the play store using your google account from your PC… search for the app and then click on uninstall. It
should then "push" the uninstall request to your phone.

  • If it was pre-installed, you can hide the app by disabling it
    Settings > Apps > TouchPal > Disable

But you can't remove it unless you have root access and use something like Titanium Backup.
