Has anyone here been affected by this strike? I have an international flight on 10.30 AM this Saturday and they have planned to have the strike at 7.00-9.00. I am contemplating if I should arrive at the airport by 6 AM.

It's a good idea to be there around then. School holidays are crazy as it is. If you are annoyed, write to you local minister and ask why there's been no negotiations for 18 months. It's the governments fault this is happening considering it means the staff are meant to work an extra week a year and get paid $8000 less.
