ZiPPiZAP balance bikes are superduper training bikes that help toddlers as young as 18 months learn to ride on two wheels. The ZiPPiZAPs amazing design teaches the rad skills of leaning, balancing, and steering without the confusion of pedals or training wheels. The ability to have their feet on the ground builds awesomeness, eliminates fear and allows kids to move at their own pace.

The Original ZiPPiZAP Balance Bike is awesomely light, it has a lower seat height (for the youngest starting age), and is tested to the highest safety standards. This balance bike will grow as your toddler grows making the ZiPPiZAP the only bike your toddler will need to develop their riding skills and successfully transfer onto their first pedal bike without training wheels. With heaps of colors to choose from and totally customisable, your kid will love their ZiPPiZAP!

  • Is colour the only difference amongst the options?

Thanks. Had been after a balance bike for my kid so this was timely. Bought!
Oh and it cost 3 cents more ($49.98) than what your title suggests :P

Saw these $15 at kmart but not the same brand but it's all pretty much the same stuff

Not really…different features at different price points. Wood vs metal vs injection-molded composite frame (best). Some have a hand brake. pneumatic tyres vs crappy foam filled. Some have recessed nuts & bolts for added safety. Adjustability of seat or handlebars is important as is the quality of the grips and seat fabrics.

I'd pay the extra $35 just so I didn't have to walk into Kmart

Constructive feedback: the following terms are not helping your sales pitch and would be best removed or replaced:
    1. Superduper
    2. Rad skills
    3. Awesomeness
    4. Eliminates fear (I don't think you can guarantee this)
    5. Awesomely
    6. Lower seat height (Relative to what?)
    7. Youngest starting age (see 7)
    8. Highest safety standards (see 7)

Have I become the new JV? Ugh I'm going to have a shower

4 is self-explantory: "The ability to have their feet on the ground builds awesomeness, eliminates fear"
6 and therefore 7 are probably relative to other brand bikes - I couldn't get my girl onto her balance bike when she wanted to because the seat didn't go low enough.
8 is probably a lot better than a cheaper one from k-mart.

    • What avatar do you have? lol. going for a shower with yellow gloves, ping pong bat, baseball mask and a white towel…

    • Thanks for the feedback. We will take it into consideration.

    • Yes. Please put some clear specifications on your site - there's so little useful information!

      • Thanks for the feedback

  • Bought one, thanks for sharing!

  • Took me quite some effort to get my son off from assisting wheels because there were balance bikes around.

  • Purple bike comes in at $70.98 (including $11 postage)….not quite $50

    • I found only the red bike with front black wheel come to $50 with voucher, you'll get free postage after confirming address.

    • Sorry about that. There must be a bug in the shipping code for your postcode. Let me know if you want to make an order.

hard rubbish collection - kids bike - remove bottom bracket and chain. BAM - balance bike

  • Haven't been able to find any reviews etc for these bikes…

These look like they might be okay for $50 delivered but are effectively a "Strider" copy
    http://www.striderbikes.com/product/bikes/12

For the normal price if you wanted a metal bike a genuine strider might be a better buy.

If you wanted a top of the line balance bikes look at the FirstBIKE range
    http://www.firstbike.com.au/
(they are a bit more expensive at $144.95-$199.95 + $14.95 shipping or Free shipping with orders over $239)

    • FirstBike looks really well designed. It has hand brakes that are similar to standard bikes.

    • I saw the Kmart balance bikes on the website, none assembled in store to check out but bought one anyways- assembled it at home and was so disappointed in the quality that returned it immediately. Purchased a FirstBike (the one with airfilled tires along with the lowering kit - very happy. If you subscribe to pregnancy and birth expo newsletter they somethimes have free delivery code
