Stainless steel burners this is sounding good. though I have found that the bottom interior of the firebox is often galvanised on BBQs, and this is what rusts out ….. would be good if this one has all stainless steel firebox.

From all reports these sold strongly this morning. I was at Aldi Carnegie Central in VIC and the four units on the floor had hands on them within 30 seconds.

    I managed to get one.

Myself and the three other buyers then had to drag and pull the 85kg box to the register with no assistance from staff. Aldi is weird like that times.

Someone else I know was at Aldi Chadstone in VIC at opening and missed out.

    Anyone else have any luck?

Got it built with help in about three hours. Instructions good and quality of components also good.

Finished product is very nice. It's a lot of BBQ for $500. Quality seems comparable to other $800-$1200 Chinese-built six burners.

The LED lights and the inbuilt timer are a nice touch.

How does it cook? Won't know until I break her in tonight or tomorrow.

Two AAs. There's a little hanging cage inside the left side cabinet. The battery pack sits in there.

    • So how does it cook?

        Gas
