From research prices in Ireland seem higher than here with exchange rate. Anyone know of any reputable European sellers with good deals on Apple MacBooks?
Was considering getting one in Oz and posting it back - anyone see any usability issues with this?

Do apple Ireland have a refurb store? Might be cheaper?
Otherwise physical apple stores there may do discounts like they do here?

Maybe the Irish government makes Apple pay income tax. I know Apple doesn't pay much here and that Google has a deal with the Irish government (where they actually pay income tax).
23.5% VAT vs 10% GST might contribute to the difference.
You won't be able to use Australia Post to do that. You'll need to use a courier like FedEx or Pack and Send.
Is the price difference really that much, even with exchange rate?
You'll also need to factor in the cost of sending - very rough 20sec quote suggests around $80 to post.
