  • WOW!!!! Thats a great price! Bet they will go super quick!

  • That is an awesome price. How did you find out about it? It's not the on the website..yet..

  • This is very inexpensive !!

  • I think I will reserve my vote until the deal is confirmed.

    • Am I missing something? Is it not clear enough?

      • The only confirmation that the deal existed was your post (minus uploaded pics at the time of my comment). I was reserving my vote until a catalogue picture was posted, which you now have.

But why have you written over the pic and controller? Makes it hard to determine if its genuine Sony or third party.

I think I'll continue to reserve my vote.

  • DS3 or DS2?

    • PS4 :)

      • Power,
you didn't reply to phil's question about how you found out about this…

        • Check above!

          • @POWERevolution: lol i was late by about 50 seconds..
Not bad, so is it the sixaxis or the standard, i was going to buy this tomoz: http://www.offerme.com.au/groupbuy/PS3-DualShock-3-Controlle…

So if it's similar, i would be stupid to not got for the kmart one.

Also, doesn't say if it is wireless or not :S

            • @RJE91: Yeah i was going for that was as well.. I might wonder across to kmart now seeing as it's 5mins away from my work.. I'll see if the catalogue is there.

              • @phillystyle: It just seems too cheap for the sixaxis … Like if offerme can do it for 50, you wouldn't think a retailer would be doing it for $11 cheaper!

            • @RJE91: I got no clue as I don't have PS3 but from the cat + offerme pic they both look the same to me.

  • Would this be the sixaxis or just the standard?

    • It would be the sixaxis..

      GREAT DEAL!

      • Any picture show the difference between these 2 controller?

Yeah i was going for that was as well.. I might wonder across to kmart now seeing as it’s 5mins away from my work.. I’ll see if the catalogue is there.

Please let us know after your trip to Kmart.

        • Just looked in kmart then.. They had no catalogue in there but I did see the ps3 contollers. They were selling them for 99! So I doubt it's genuine

    • Didn't they stop making the "standard" ones, and the sixaxis is now standard?

      • I thought all PS3 controller now are sixaxis … hmm maybe I'm wrong …

      • Yes, all other variations (non dualshock) have been discontinued for.. quite some time now.

  • Doesn't look genuine?

  • +1

    Wait up,

Look at the catalog pic, just above the price sign and a bit to the left there is a usb receiver or wire, so i assume it isn't the standard sixaxis as they use the Ps3's bluetooth…

    • Yeah I can see the USB plug but maybe picture is for illustration purposes only. Let wait for phillystyle to confirm after his trip or someone close by Kmart give them a visit.

  • It's a third-party controller… EB head office knows about this and won't match.

    • I was and still a bit skeptical, that being said, that usb just might be the lead to charge it, if it is the genuine six-axis it's a huge bargain! If not, i'm going to be dissapointed.

Jason, are you 100% sure it's not a sony product?

      • Correct. 100% third-party controller.

  • Didn't think it was real.

    Negative.

  • wtf this is not sony brand zz futuronics -_-

  • on closer inspection it does appear that the controlled is a 3rd party one

EDIT: i was looking at the symbols on the controller like triangel , circle etc coz that look slightly different.

  • +1

We can't really see over the 'n' in the writing, OP please post photo again without the ozbargain writing…?

  • yeah doesnt look genuine for sure

  • Speaking of Genuine contrllers.

I remember seeing a 'bundle' with the Sega Megadrive games.
Does anyone remember where this was?

  • Why is there so much hype over a non-branded ps3 controller? there is a huge difference in quality, I even have a Logitech usb rumble that I use with the PS3 and it still doesn't match the feel and quality of the Sony ones… The catalogue (If it is the actual one that is) displays a third party controller and it even has a usb stick just above the $39 sign… I've seen Australian (Especially franchise) sell a genuine ps3 controller at that price, so I doubt it's genuine (I haven't even seen american online retailers reach that price… The only time a good a price near/slash beat this was when GAME added the sony controller for $20 online by accident.

Looks to be the same as

    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_…

Back when cotd had their ps3 offer.

    • that looks exactly the same as the kmart one! good work!

      • Agreed…that's it.

        No deal.

      • Yup…look the same so is COTD genuine? Can any one bought from COTD deal confirm?

        • Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, no.

The symbols on the buttons give it away.

          Deal should be edited.

      • So does anyone have one of these, and can comment on the quality?

  • LOL so much response within 1hr for a PS3 controller! :)

    • LOL…maybe put at the top that's it's not genuine cos it definitely isn't.

  • lols? told you its futuronic

    • Catalogue didn't show brand name…could be other brand too :)

  • For all those they are keen for a ps3 controller hit up the offerme site that was linked earlier - but for all those lazy folk here it is again - http://www.offerme.com.au/groupbuy/PS3-DualShock-3-Controlle…

Probably the cheapest genuine controller going around..

    • Maybe post it as a new deal?

  • SON OF A!

Damn u Kmart for fooling us >_<

    • If it was genuine they would have stated 'Sony' in the title.

  • Maybe we would of figured it out by looking at it sooner if he didn't slap the big green OzBargain over the top of it.

    • maybe Powerevolution know about this so he put the OzB logo :)

    • As this price is damn cheap (sorry didn't know it was 3rd party as I don't own any Sony, only Wii) so I though making something exclusive for OzB but didn't know this ruin the party. That's all folks!

      • It's alright man … looks like you need to update title so people know it's 3rd party :)

  • Anyone going to Singapore? It cost like SG$50 in Singapore for an original PS3 controller. Aussie price is just crazy.

  • that's an ugly looking controller

  • The item is described as "dualshock" in the catalog. This is likely to be a Sony trademark. I think you could argue that they were referring to the Sony item through the use of the trademark! It isn't likely a 3rd party controller would have dualshock written on it anywhere.

    • dual shock is not the intellectual property of sony, that's why sony couldnt bring dual shock at beginning, and which sucks

    • The photo is clearly of a 3rd party controller. End of bargain

  • +1

Unfortunately, you could import these yourself for about $30.

It was a good deal…until it was 3rd party.

  • best thing to do is get a copy of the catalogue and try and price match it with someone who has poor eyesight! i'm sure at least one person here will be able to =P

    • wonder if this works…

  • Agreed, $39 for a 3rd party IMO is not a bargain.

  • -1

    Missed it by that much.

  • Not genuine .

  • Curious. Why would you write over the top of the "bargain"?

  • sony dpad does not connect to each other this one in the pic does ..

  • Positive removed 'cause of non-genuine revelations.

  • +2
  • non genuine crap.
