50% off all Mirabella branded light globes; I saw LEDs, halogens, fluroescents, etc. The sale officially starts tomorrow but I because they had the advertising up on the shelf, they honored it today. Purchased from the Victoria QV store, but possibly nationwide according to a comment below.

That's a great deal. I bought a Mirabella PAR38 LED flood light on special the other day and it is FANTASTIC. Uses about 20W and is much, much brighter than the 150W incandescent globes I had previously been using.
Ive had a pack of 4 Mirrabellas for my downlights fail constantly, price was around 10 bucks for the box.
Ended up getting my lights replaced under the led scheme which was much better value. Free lights vs cheap lights that tend to fail frequently…

I tried buying some Mirabella LED globes at Big W Forest Hill (VIC) just now, but they scanned at full price at the checkout. No Sale signage on the shelves either. I was at Big W QV last night and the sale signage was up, but the sale hadn't yet begun. :(
I might have been the guy in the black shirt standing next to you - the 2 I picked up checked out at 50% off. I went to the tech count up the back and confirmed the price.
The price check station was useless though…

They scanned at full price last night but when i approached a nice staff member he said he'd honour the sale price and the checkout lady also manually marked down the price without having to follow up. she did mention that the sale only started tomorrow but with the signage up, they were nice enough to just give me the sale price

Pickup a 90 lumen/watt led for $7.50, some 70 lumen/watt cfls for $3 I think. Plenty of bargains here, although it is my belief that these will probably fail within 5 years due to low quality rectifier. No evidence on that yet, but thats what tends to happen to the cheaper made bulb, so they never really pay themselves off. If I get time I'll crack a few of them open, and if they look good I'll buy more, bypass the transformer circuitry and wire them up using a stable dc supply
The heat lamps are good too at $5 each.
Just as a note I was looking for a light globe today and all Mirabella globes had $1 tags on them at Woolworths. Dunno if it's nationwide or not but was definitely at WW Sandy Bay.
