You can get 4GB drives for $11 or $12 from MSY, $12 from Umart etc.
So if you miss the special, you're not missing that much.
True for tightwad PC hardware enthusiasts who stand in line outside MSY as part of their weekly ritual. But for everyone else it's a plus when the product's available for a dollar or two less, from many more locations, and with 2 minute queues rather than 45 minute ones.
I'm not saying it's a bad deal, simply that it's not the end of the world if you miss it.
Or $12 for 1 @ Kmart…look better than this one with cap & shorter!

i hazard a guess the msy sticks are crappy ritmos or some crap and not any kind of famous brand
$11 for Kingston, $12 for HP
nicely played tantryl :)
+1 for tonyjzx and Jabba
I grabbed a couple about 3 days ago. They had plenty left then. Not sure now….
Do all usb2.0 sticks transfer at teh same rate?
If so, then what is the difference between them all technicallyNo, they have different read/write speeds.
so the pricier ones are usually faster?
Where do these ones rank?
Thanks :)
i received this for christmas from my cousin :)
big w had the same deal a while back, except you didnt have to buy 2, i picked up one that day
4GB SanDisk Blade is $12.88 in Office Works, it looks sleek so I bought one
read/write rate any good?
I was just about to mention this myself. Not sure how durable the construction is, but it is pretty small and slim, and looks nice. Budget packaging.
The Sandisk is the better buy. Lexar = cheap + nasty
i wonder if the good guys are gonna do what they did last year
they sold 8gb laser usb flash drives for 8 dollars eachi dont like usb sticks with caps that you can loose
The lexar drive pictured is a capless design - the USB retreats into the casing via a switch on the side.
The Sandisk blade has no cap. It is not a retreating mechanism, it just does away with any covering.
No these ones are the ones with caps. The picture just shows it without.
Wow good deal i went to big W and brought one thanks man!!!
Where did you bring it to?
HAHAHAHAHHA
He brought it before the usb gods, a sacrifice unto grammar :)
This is from the back to school catalogue that started a week ago — you may be pressed to find them around.
