Miles & More Lufthansa Frequent Flyer Points

I have 27626 Miles & More miles across a few family members accounts.
Miles were accrued flying Lufthansa to Europe.
I tried to search if I can use or transfer the miles for anything here in Australia, but I could not find anything interesting apart car hire.
Does anybody have any experience or knowledge with Miles & More?
