AmEx Approval

I have just applied for Amex through Priceline promo they have at the moment, it went through 60 second check & came up with:

Thank you for applying for the American Express Platinum Edge Card Priceline Offer.

We have successfully captured your application and it is currently in processing. We will finalise your application as soon as possible and notify you of the outcome within 5-10 working days.

I was rejected last year for some unknown reason with Amex so hopefully this one goes through. My credit score is 780 & income is over their minimum

If you are approved does it usually tell you instantly or sometimes it takes a few days?

    Thanks mate, got a text today saying it had been approved.

    For the record, last time I did not receive a text message, just a letter a few days saying it had been declined.

      what was the next step after the approval sms did you receive any email notifications to say the card has been sent or just the card in the mail?

        Just received card in mail a few days later from memory
