I have purchased this model previously at around US$25 and it has performed well.

This device does not carry the required Electrical Safety Compliance for Australia. Nor does the AC Cable supplied with the device.

It is delivered with an AC cable with a USA style plug. I keep that for overseas travel and use a compliant local cable when using it in Australia.

Around 500 sold on posting - and about 20 hours left to buy at this price.

Personally I'd prefer a Blitzwolf or Tronsmart which can supply full current to any port, and which automatically detect if they are connected to an Apple, Samsung or standard device.

I've tried to use chargers with dedicated 2A and 1A ports before and it can be a nightmare, especially when you have family or friends visiting. A few times I've woken up to find out I was sleepy and accidentally plugged my tablet or mobile phone into the low-power socket the night before, then ran out of juice prematurely the next day. If many people are sharing these chargers, as happens when family or friends visit, it's very difficult to try to explain that some ports only work with some devices. And bad when you plugged your device into the working socket, but somebody else changed it to another socket without your knowledge so they could fast-charge their iPad, and your device stopped charging completely.

Blitzwolf is about the same price with ORICO.
I am not sure about Mazda and Porsche though.

        Thanks for the posting.

Greenie4242 raised some valid points. You've also offered some good advice about cable colours.
I also went for the blitzwolf because of the quality of the charger's output. If you know Ken Shirriff's article on mains chargers and the separate review on the blitzwolf, it relieved most consumers' concerns. A bad charger can do significant damage to your investment (batteries). Unfortunately, a bad charger isn't easy to spot.

I wouldn't have bought a blitzwolf without its accompanying tear down review, especially after reading Ken's review.

Based on what I know, I'd still buy the blitzwolf ahead of this charger based on what I know. Let's hope my charger (when it arrives) lives up it its reputation.

          Thanks for the posting.

          There are better chargers.

I have purchased almost all the better known brands (including ANKER) of 4, 5, and 6 port chargers. The best so far has been the CHOETECH 50W 6 Port. Better than many more expensive 4 and 5 port chargers.

I have wasted a lot of money on multi port chargers over the past few years.

      • Personally, I would prefer to drive a Rolls during the week, and a Porsche on the weekends. At the moment, however, I can afford only one Mazda. I do have a couple of such Auto-Detecting chargers (50W and 60W), as well as two of this type of 40W charger.

Well if I can put an extra $3k and get a Porsche, I would.

Stop being defensive of your bargain dude, haters be hating and all you're doing is acting like an 8 year-old.

        Last I looked, +3, -0 = good.

For those interested in buying the BEST multi port chargers that I have ever found.

    Here is the 6 Port 50W - US$23.28

    And here is the newer QUALCOMM 2.0 6 Port 60W - US$39.50

Edit: Please note that these two chargers do not have Australian Electrical Safety Certification.

  • I own a probably rehashed version of this (I assume it is just a rebranded one for American market since it has the exactly same spec and same looks other than the brand). I've bought it cheaper than shown below (Cheaper than Aliexpress, though I did pay for the shipping). I think it's alright. The plastic do not feel flimsy. It's small enough for me. I've just taped it down to my desk and use 30cm cables for charging (which works rather well for me).

The only downside that I see from this is that it has an US plug. I'd recommend getting an Australian plug since I do get slightly unstable connections due to the plug (though I think it's more to do with my crappy converter).

On similar note, to OP, where did you get the compliant Australian plugs from? I have no clue where to get one.

Sorry. It was only meant to last for about another 20 hours.

      You do not support PayPal?

I do. However, AliExpress has never done so.

      • Hi sorry mate. Yes I meant Aliexpress not supporting PayPal, not you personally.
