Cash Rewards and David Jones E-Gift Cards

I am going to try stacking a David Jones e-gift card (10% off via my Entertainment Book) with the Cash Rewards offer on DJ's purchases (6% cashback).

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has successfully stacked them, because I noticed that Cash Rewards has a standard disclaimer that says "Rewards may not be payable if you pay by gift card".

P.S. Regarding the discussion from a few months ago about not being able to shop online with DJ gift cards, please note that there is now a link on the DJs homepage to where you can buy gift cards and e-gift cards, which also states that you can also use them online.

P.P.S. Before anyone comments on me shopping at DJs, note that I ONLY buy half-price and clearance items, and ONLY if they are cheaper than Priceline/Chemist Warehouse, and ONLY if I can stack them with free-gift-with-purchase offers LOL.

P.P.P.S. Note that DG's is having a "take an extra 25% off" sale this weekend (presumably on only certain items) and is offering a $20 gift card for $150 spent in one transaction (but this is definitely only on certain items).

    Did you end up getting cash back from DJs?

    Rewards will not be payable on the purchase of any Apple branded products.

    Gift cards are excluded from rewards altogether (payment and purchase). Using a gift card for part payment of a purchase will result in rewards not payable for the entire purchase.
