We moved into a brand new apartment in Sydney almost 21 months ago.Naturally we have had a few teething problems which mostly have been fixed. Just over 3 weeks ago we were having problems with our shower screen door. It is now stuck open about 30cms as the lower hinges are grinding against each other. Contacted the builder who gave me 2 phone numbers of the installer. Called and he said he'd call back to fix in the next few days. Didn't hear anything . Sent an SMS and made 2 follow up calls over the following week. Still nothing. Contacted the other number who appears to be business owner. Went to voicemail. No reply. Finally make contact with owner who says someone will come on Friday to fix. No one comes on Friday. Call owner again who says he'll ring the guy who was supposed to come and he'll call back. After an hour I rang the owner again as there had been no reply but it went to voicemail.
I'm sure it's just a 5 minute adjustment of the hinges but how do I get some action?I have let the builder know but he is away on holidays.
We have been unable to use the shower for over 3 weeks.

write to builder and tell him he has until say 25/9 to fix it else you will get it fixed and bill him

Contact the installer and say he has till the end of the month to sort it out or you will take legal action.
Is the door a 10mm frameless glass door with 2 chrome hinges?
If yes then it's probably the grub screws that have worked loose and need to be retightened with an allen key.
When these work loose the hinges make a terrible grinding noise.Yes, it is a 10mm frameless glass door with 2 hinges. I had already tightened all the screws. My brother was visiting tonight from interstate and between the 2 of us we managed to adjust the hinges so that the door now closes. Thanks to all for your help and advice.
