Skype Account hacked. Worst customer service ever.

Hi,
Around a month ago my Skype account was hacked and subsequently lots of calls were made to African countries and also it appears subscriptions were purchased. Most calls were very short and it appeared to just automatically call numbers one after another. Anyway, I had about 50 AUD in account that I got from skype cards when they were half price. Also automatic top up was set up and 5 x $16 top ups went through from paypal and 1 x $16 direct cc charge. After this I went on to Skype chat and explained. I had to fill out a form to the 'higher department'. They would then email withing 24 hrs. 3 days later nothing. I got back on to chat and I was told to again fill out online form as I had not kept receipt number and I was not emailed a confirmation. This time I asked them to wait on chat and I passed them receipt number straight away and they said they would push it through quickly. (in the mean time I went to paypal and reported payments as fraud and got that money straight back for their ones). Again 3 days later nothing from Skype, (but still getting an email a day telling them my subscription had runout and to pay it). Ofcourse the account was blocked and although I can use it for skype to skype calls I cant get credit or anything. So back on to skype customer service chat. Im told that 'higher department' has marked it as replied, i tell them I have nothing they tell me to check junk folder etc. I give them my alternate work email, Im told they are very sorry, they will sort it out. times this phase by 5 and I am now here. I still have no email from them after a month of it happening, I have kept records of our chats. I still have a suspeneded skype account. I still get an email a day telling me my subscription has ended and I should top it up.
What do I do? just open a new one and cut my losses?

    Im gonna go with 'cut my losses.'

    Only coz they were the last 3 words , and the only ones i CBF looking at among this jumble of letters and bad grammar.

    Hi mcsere,

    I am really sorry for your inconvenience. Yes I do agree that skype chat service is hopeless and pathetic. However, you could explain your situation in skype community by posting a blog and sometimes moderators are very helpful there. My subscription was cancelled once for no reason but re-activated by one of those moderators. Hope this helps!
