Looking to get a new phone in under $400 mark. With so many guys with gun tech knowledge on the website I thought I'll pick your brain first and then go shopping.

What is a good phone is subjective. No one can give you a definite answer of what is the best phone for you.
What do you look for in a phone? Do you have a preferred screen size? If not, perhaps go to a phone shop and have a look at a few, play with them in your hands for a bit. The Z3 Compact might be too small, a Galaxy Note too large.
Then, what are your preferred features? Battery life, camera, thinness, software updates?
These are questions only you can answer
