60

Since the debacle with Woolies supposedly $10 for 3 gigs 3 Gee modem turned out to be $29 marked down from $39 and got 55 Likes

This is a better Dick Smith deal for $29 for 5 gigs. About $6 a gig cheap as chips. 30 days expiry.

This is put out as most members are in short supply of dongles and wifi modem especially the 3Gee kind.

  • Also on the DSE website, however delivery kills it.

  • $4.90 a gig as opposed to $5.80 a gig

90 cents savings per gig (hardly felt when streaming ) however OW is notorious for no stock. Actually DSE is also the same.

In any case better than the Woolies deal for 3 gigs Voda for $29 few days back.

I'm surprised people call this a deal (a reflection on the value not the OP's effort to share with us) - The Vodafone 3GB for $9/$10 is about the most I will pay these days. That deal comes and goes from time to time. My benchmark is <$3/gb.

Luckily I got some of those 19GB / $19 deals a few weeks back which is my best find so far but there has been better, I missed those $1/$2 woolies deals, and the crazy Telstra (leaked) ones which blew everything away (200gb).

So what I'm saying is, this deal is okay if you need something right now, but if you can wait, a better deal is likely just around the corner.

EDIT: sorry no links to substantiate the above deal refs (on my phone) but every data sim I've ever bought was via an OB deal.

    • The Vodafone 3GB for $9 usb modem deal no longer exists. The new $9 usb modems at Coles or Woolworths is only 500MB.
      Previous deal from TA
Vodafone don't have 3GB of data for their prepaid usb modems anymore
