Super cheap iPhone 6 and 6 plus import from USA

Locanto.com.au is a free website for advertisers wanting to sell their stuff and one interesting ad that I came across was incredibly cheap iPhones 6 and 6 plus at prices between $500 - $600 for brand new phones. The only problem though which I am suspicious is that there advertiser does not provide a contact phone no. and there were a few that advertise false address. I looked up the physical address in Melbourne for a couple of the advertisements and there were no where to be found, so I contacted locanto.com.au and lodge a complaint and the advertisement was quickly blocked by the host co. I replied to an a couple of the ad and found one resides in USA again no website address only an email address [email protected]. This co. only provides Payment Method: Western union,Money gram and Bank account and would not provide me with a website address when I contacted them except to say the co. is a partnership. Does this appear too good to be true or am I being too suspicious?

The other advertiser is based in Sydney name Xtreme Mobile. When I googled co. it appears the Co. deals in mobile phone repairs. At the price is of $500 - $600, I have my suspicion and doubts the handset is refurbished new, even though sales rep says it's new. Ads seems to be all over Australia, but appears to have originate from the same people, I imagine.

Just wonder if anyone has any dealings or know anything about these Co on the website.

    Your asking if a company that consists of a free email address which takes only non-reversible payment methods and has unbelievably good prices is legit? Lel.

    If its too good to be true, it almost certainly is.

    I can see that you are very tempted. I would suggest that you stay away.

    Trigger flag 1: If they dont accept Paypal, they have something to hide. Don't fall for the "fees" response.
    Trigger flag 2:. Only accepts Western Union, MoneyGram and direct deposit.

    You will have better luck getting your hands on that $1m inheritance, that a relative from Nigeria is asking for your bank details about…….

    Indirectly in the industry. Unless they are stolen (allegedly)……then the IMEI will be blocked. Serial are tracked by Apple, Samsung.

    This is actually my gut feeling. Thanks everyone for confirming. Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the advertising website to ensure this kind of scam is not posted to protect consumers. I flagged the ads to locanto.com.au but they appears to be responding not very effectively. When I did a search for mobile phone ads on their website, pages and pages of their website was filled with the similar kind of ads and when I complained their only looked at one but then I complained about a series of about three different ads and their response was more or less asking me to repeat my complains again. Just feeling tired having to complain again and staying up past midnight to do it. It makes locanto.com.au looks like an irresponsible website.
