Hey guys,
I purchased a portable Xiaomi Wirless Speaker and Mi band from Gearbest a few weeks back. It came pretty quick but when I took the speaker out of the box and moved it about, there was a distinct rattle coming from inside of the speaker. The speaker still works, but something is definitely loose in side, perhaps the battery. I sent Gearbest an email and this is their response.

I want make sure that if there is a noise when it stand still.
If the noise only occurs when you move it. It is normal I think because it could cause noise when you move it because the friction with air. And you can adjust the size of the volume to reduce noise.

They honestly think im stupid enough to confuse something internally loose, with the sound of it swooshing through the air due to friction. I replied back to this and said it is not the case but i have not heard back. Its been over a week now. What do ?
I would have recorded a video of the rattle and sent it off with my reply.
Otherwise you get what you pay for - cheap prices —> poor customer service. Just wait for a reply and if still nothing then bring in the paypal dispute and/or chargebacks.
