Try Telecube.com.au. and Cloud softphone.
I went there first because my Fax number was costing $30+ a month. I wasn't ready to drop it altogether, but now it's 5.50.
Now I am slowly migrating other numbers, but I can make or forward calls to anywhere in the world.
SIP = VoIP
Landline = PSTN
You'd need to setup call forwarding on your PSTN service, or port out the number from your landline onto a VoIP service (not Telstra). Both options would cost you. The forwarding your calls will cost you each call - if forwarding to your VoIP service, this means you won't be paying per minute (as you would for a mobile). Porting your landline number means that you'll lose the landline and your VoIP service will have your landline number - but this will only work if your phone and internet aren't bundled in a contract.
