KFC Xpress App add two large sides

Didn't post this as a deal because I haven't 100% confirmed it.

If you order at a participating KFC through the Xpress app you can get two large sides for $5.

Basically from the promo screen add two large sides for $5 - you don't need to purchase anything else.

I amended it to two large chips and set for pick up and pay on arrival - this is what I mean by unconfirmed (I'm not planning to pick up my order I just wanted to see if it would go through).
You can also change it to any large side or 1.25ltr drink.

Also to note $1 regular chips are back on the app max 4.

    Doesn't it work out better getting 4 $1 chips? I'm pretty sure 2 regular chips = 1 large. Correct me if I'm wrong…

      I thought the large chips were about 2.5 the regular.
      I haven't worked in KFC since my first job though and could be wrong.

        My friend told me he asked a worker a few months back and that's what they said.

        I actually think that the large box may have shrunk a little? I can't confirm this, as I went for a fair few years of not having KFC.

    App shows $2.95 for regular chips, tried 3 different kfcs
