La Nova Tomato Puree on sale at Frewville Foodland. Haven't seen it this cheap in at least 12 months (but I haven't been looking too closely).
Usually about $1.79, see Romeo's Foodland for comparative price (https://romeosonline.com.au/lines/54644a32e1272f26d20d0eb7)
It's a great base for a bolognese sauce, just add some basil, oregano, sautéed onion and garlic plus whatever else takes your fancy. Here's one recipe suggestion that uses the whole 700g jar to serve 4 people,

The tomatoes are (supposedly) from Italy. La Nova is slightly bigger than many of the other tomato purée brands who are often in 680g jars (eg. from memory, La Cucina, etc). I'm not a tomato connoisseur, so I can't tell you the difference between tomato purée varieties.
When I was at Frewville, they had at least 20 sealed lots of 12 - and about 30 individual bottles.
