Hi all
We're flying our kids (aged 1,3,5) to Sydney for a 4 night holiday and wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things to do. We'll probably stay in the city so either after any attraction bundle deals or separate suggestions.
Thanks

Go to Sydney Tower and take them and yourself out to the observation deck.
Just remember to take the family visas in case Tony's henchmen are waiting:)
The powerhouse museum and Tumbalong Park for the playground.
Go to Mt. Druitt, for the Culture.
Loads of sights to see there! I highly recommend it
The Sydney Aquarium www.sydneyaquarium.com.au is near the city and should entertain the kids.
We were in Sydney with our 1,3 and 5 year old last weekend! There is a great new park within walking distance from Town Hall station - Darling Quarter. Take a change of clothes as your kids will get wet. I picked up $5 tickets on Groupon for the Ferris wheel at Darling Harbour and kids under 3 are free. You can't beat the zoo but it's pricey. Check out Gumtree for tickets. My kids also enjoyed checking out the Myer toy department. It's really big and stocks a lot of things the regional stores do not. There is also story time in the book department.
We bought this pass (they were on special, so even cheaper than the current price) and enjoyed doing these places.

I was pleasantly surprised at the zoo, it's very compact but you saw a lot of animals for the size of it and I much preferred it to the usual massive day trip with long walks you often have to do for a zoo trip. The aquarium was ok, just depends if the kids are in the mood or not. My youngest was 1 at the time and that was the day we discovered she LOVES fish. She spent the afternoon enraptured by the tanks and ran about screaming FISHIES! FISHIES! Big surprise with the 5yo was how much she loved the wax museum. We all had fun doing silly photos with all the waxworks and it was surprisingly interactive.
Please let me know if you would like any attraction coupons out of the Sydney Entertainment Book as I won't likely use them and I am happy to donate!
