    To be fair I haven't bought anything from them for a while but when I did delivery on a eeepc was $50.00 and it took weeks. So long that it almost didn't arrive in time for the overseas trip I purchased it for.

  True that prices at SQ are noticeable higher than other online stores - they like to inflated the RRP so the saleprice looks good to the casual observer. And their shipping rates quite high for small items.

  But occasionally, they have free shipping promo which can be good if the item is not much higher elsewhere.

  I bought a SATA docking station a week before Xmas for $45 inc delivery from Zazz. The same one selling now at SQ for 39.95 + free delivery. Wish I didn't see that deal on Zazz!

    so true! I checked out the SQ website and saw the Chanel Allure Pour Homme 100ml fragrance for $119.95 RRP $173. I work in fragrances at a department store and it definitely is not $173 more like $132 thereabouts, so you're not really saving much if you take shipping into consideration.

    has listed the RRP as $169 when actually its $159 (I am 100% sure of this).
    Talk about inflated.

  Only good deal I could see what $29 for Bicycle Carrier for Car. I have been thinking about it considering don't want to spend few hundred dollars to add a roof rack or a tow bar. This seems to be cheap solution. However, I am not sure on how good these things are. Anybody ever bought one of these before? Are they waste a time as I wouldn't want to risk my bicycle fall of the car.

    Cheaper models tend to leave marks on the bar boot where they mount/attach themselves.

  I think that's a good deal seeing as it's $200 on TV and various websites.

      Why? I've heard only good things about it. I know it'll take weeks and not days though, but with all the different exercises and positions it takes it looks like a great item.

      Fine to vote negative, but really having to wait 3 months for a reason is a bit much, be helpful and give us a little more details. Otherwise you really arent helping the community much as we have to guess why.

  Some of the items have increased in price
  for eg the wii remote plus Nunchuk was $60 with $10 delivery before now its $71.
  Now its actually more expansive

      Yeah that's a norm with SS. I was after a media player which I was hanging out for a free delivery deal on, and when the free delivery was finally offered on the product, I found the product was jacked up by $18…….

        that reminded me of target the other day.. they jacked up the price on a game that was 39 to 49 when games were 15 percent off. the old price tag was still on there.

        seems like a common practice on already cheap items which has been seen on cdwow.

        anyways if this is the best of 2009, then a lot of people are buying crap!

  Increasing prices THEN knocking off a few dollars is not a bargain.

  Furthermore, after purchasing 3 items from ShoppingSquare and having to return them all due to technical issues (which cost me atleast $15 p&h per item to send back) I wont ever bother buying from them again. Their deals are never good enough to make me go through the massive headache of dealing with their slow/average support ever again.
