better than "Ainol" though
I have dodgey x5pro with optus and it does not get 4G.
Update: Vodafone au 4G no worries
Great (-:
You should get 4G on Optus too. (unless you live in somewhere like Canberra)
Tried several times to get opus, spoke to tech team & went into store but to no avail.
What I could gather was that the handset was from overesas & wouldn't work everywhere all the time, like Aussie handsets not working properly in America.
Not all 3G or 4G signals are the same, phones aren't either. I guess that the doogee is lacking compatibility for opus, possibility the 700Ghz dial but that's for 3G. What I've heard.
As for LTE I'm not sure but reading it for this phone on the web specks it is quoted, and in the network settings it has a few 4G settings like 'preferred network', but nothing selectable 'LTE'
I have checked out the opus network coverage map on the web and a tower is 600m from home. Couldn't get it.
Vodafone told me on a cupple occasions because I'm prepared I needed $4 credit to access 4G but since putting in sim and settings it up 4G constantly, my credits not an issue.
Good phone, glad I have it. few bugs in the beginning, but serves my budget well.
Thats not good marketing naming a phone "Doogee".
