Sidi Cycling Shoes 50% off @ Pushys Carbon Wire Vernice $269

120

For those of us that appreciate the need to go without food and water in order to own nice bike stuff, Pushys have a sale on Sidi shoes and for some of their higher end models like the Sidi wire Vernice models these are the best prices I have seen. I bought a pair of the Carbon wire vernice with Speedplay soles, $269 incl postage at Pushys over $400 almost everywhere else. For anyone that hasnt owned Sidi shoes before, be careful with sizing, might need to go a size up compared to other brands like Shimano and Northwave. My Northwave 42's fit well but I need a 43 in Sidi.

For example carbon wire Vernice :

Pushys: $260.00 withe free shipping

CRC $424 http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/au/en/sidi-wire-carbon-ve…
Wiggle $320 http://www.wiggle.com/sidi-wire-carbon-vernice-road-shoe/

Sizes are a bit picked over, good luck finding the right size.

    Cycling gears are always expensive

  • Are they cheaper on eBay through the 20% sale?
What's the sizing like on Sidis? I have orthotics so wondering if they are pretty narrow or just regular. Thanks

    • Looks like their eBay prices for Sidi are 20% more than their online shop so probably even out after the code! Size-wise I bought sz 42 as my old shoes are Northwave Sz 42 and ages ago i had some Sidi Genius 5's sz 43 that were a bit big. When they arrives the Sidi wire sz 42 were too small, my toes were hitting the end so i have sent them back for some sz 43. Apparently the stock insoles are no good so I'll be putting my superfeet insoles inside.

      • Arrived today, fit awesome!

  • Wow, pitty there's no drako's. Or maybe a good thing so I don't have buyer's remorse by paying $300 for them several months back.
Sizing on sidi's are a bit variable. Most sites claim Shimano and sidi are equivalent but I'm 46 in sidi and 45 in a shimano. The insoles are the same size (46 sidi=45 Shimano insole).
Go to a store and try them out. The ozbargain way :D.

  • Sidis are expensive but my last pair lasted me almost 10 years.

  • Perfect timing for me, my current Sidis are getting a bit tired after 20K+ kms so I've just jumped on this deal.
