Hi all, I recently bought a Fisher & Paykel washing machine which arrived today. Upon unwrapping it, I noticed that there was some ugly cosmetic damaging on the machine's handle.
Is this even something I should be upset over? This purchase has been a long time coming and I do feel that I should be at least grateful for having a washing machine now.
Just get some very fine sandpaper and buff it out.
Take a picture, and bring it/email it to the store you bought it from.
If you're nice about it, they will give you a small goodwill discount (it'll cost less for them to give you the discount, vs selling the blemished unit as a display unit).
Thanks for the advice, guys. Just decided to shoot them an email. If I get a small discount out of it, cool. If not, no harm done - I don't have to manually do the washing either way. Plus that 20% off eBay code made the purchase all the better. Cheers! :)
Only cosmetic as you mentioned…won't hurt to ask for a discount.
