FM Transmitter Belkin Lightning TuneCast Auto $46.20 C&C or $7.95 Delivery 49% off [Dick Smith]

10

It's out dated technology but I still use it, I've been waiting for it to drop in price again and it has. It can be combined with the Coles Dick Smith Gift Card deal for a further 10% off.

Available on-line only via click & collect or delivery (cost is $7.95).

  • Plug in to your iOS device and play music through your car stereo
  • Charges mobile device using car's lighter outlet
  • High-contrast LCD and two programmable presets

Usually $89.98 and is currently $89.95 at JB Hi-Fi.
Unfortunately it's still $89.98 on Dick's eBay store.

    I think I paid about $20 for a version of this a year or two ago (from eBay, can't remember which store). It's just a 3.5mm one though, not Lightning. It works OK but the signal is quite weak so it can get overpowered in some areas.

    Definitely wouldn't pay $50+

      I've tried a few different ones I think the brand names (eg Belkin and Griffin) work better then eBay generics.

        Just found it in my order history. It is the same (a Belkin TuneCast). I got it from COTD for $15 + $8 shipping.

          $31 at Dick Smith for the 3.5mm universal at the moment.

        In what way do the brand products work better ?

        • Stronger, clearer signal.

          @sween64:

          My $6 one off ebay works just fine in my car. Given the extremely close range it either works or it doesnt.

  • So hard to find a decent frequency in Sydney

    • There are a few 0.8 Mhz gaps, go right in the middle of one of those. eg 106.9 Mhz.

      • Found the guy NOT from Sydney… good luck with 106.9 in Syd, Newcastle or Woolongong

        • Should be fine in Sydney

        • There's often some interference from NXFM in Newcastle and community radio in Wollongong

        • @mubd1234:
          I seem to be wrong but I also though NOVA was on 106.9?

          @dewy:

          I had more fun! I should come back.

        • @dewy:

          Nova is 96.9

          @firedragon:
          There was a 6 and a 9, I'm not from Sydney so I'm taking it a win ;) ha

  • I bought this in an ozbargain deal last year, think it was under $20. Never use it, keep having to scan to new channels and audio quality very average. And to skip songs you have to touch your phone. My car doesn't have an aux input or Bluetooth so these or burnt cd is the only option, I just put up with radio now.

  • Bought this via COTD way back when. Isn't even worth the 15$ I paid back then.
