        Shhh,…, ASIO honeytrap.

Honestly, its pretty hard to look past this. The only thing that turns me off is that I use maps on my phone a lot, and Blackberry maps is like using a 10-year old street directory.

I'm sort of tempted for call quality, battery life [ 14 hours of video playback in one review] and ability to view/edit Word and excel. It's a business phone with HDMI out, not a games machine that can take calls.
It's a shame portable ~7" HDMI panels are not any cheaper than the same screen with a tablet stuck on it without the option of input, or the main drawback would be covered…

Holy sh*t. A rational, mature individual who understands the niche for these phones without resorting to juvenile ridicule about the obsolescence of buttons.

        view/edit Word and excel

It's not 2005, this isn't anything special. Word and Excel are available for Android, iOS and Windows phone.

        HDMI out

And? Also a very standard feature?

Yeah but this is a flagship phone with 2gb of ram for a hundred and something dollars.

Hmmm, HDMI out. If you are talking about MHL, I am sure at least Samsung flagships have taken them out recently (Galaxy S6 and Note 5).

Dunno, I thought the QWERTY keyboard was cool. It got me thinking whether I want to grab the rumoured Venice when it comes out.

You can use (Android) Google Maps, it's a bit slow and you may not be able to login (i.e. to your own account, so you can set home etc.. if you need those features). But otherwise works fine for directions, traffic updates etc..
