Thats a bit hard to decipher. I would like to know what video quality it produces.
You can do your assignment! Maybe disconnect your modem, to remove the distraction of Ozbargain?
Bought one from DSE a few months back. Definitely good quality 1080p sensor, which works better than either my note 3 or s5. Audio is also very good as well as the inbuilt .264 compression.
Yeh I did notice that but it is definitely the C920. Same one as on the Logitech website. So it has the option for 1080p or 720p depending on your bandwidth.

Here's a review aswell..

And just for more clarification here's the page on the good guys website.

In case anyone is wondering, I believe the sensor in this camera is 3 megapixels. Logitech go out of their way to conceal this, probably because its predecessor (the C910) was 5 megapixels.
3MP is still good for most purposes.
I use my C910 for when I want to scan a heap of paperwork. Much faster than a scanner, just use the camera function of the Logitech software. Even at 3MP resolution, that captures an A4 page at ~180DPI resolution - easily readable, with reasonable file sizes for the pictures produced.
Just curious why don't you use android or iPhone scanner options instead of webcam?
Because the C910 has a way better sensor than my Android phone does, and because I have a huge HDD on my desktop.
It's also much easier to mount the webcam in a fixed position, removing possible motion blur due to my no-so-steady hands. When I am doing a pile of papers, I can "scan" a page every two seconds, of which one second is the time it takes to remove the topmost sheet.
Thanks, it explains. Because normally cheap flatbed scanners will do a good job.
@azm:
I have a Canon Flatbed scanner, but I found it to be way too slow - about 2 pages per minute, tops. Using the camera is much much easier - I get instant feedback if the page isn't squarely aligned or off-center, and it's much faster too.
Scanner software does give you the option of creating a multi-page PDF though - something that the Logitech software doesn't do. For those with Linux command line skills though, it isn't too hard to fix that problem.
@Russ: I see. I primarily used my office scanner which include the feeder so it is easy. I had my Canon flatbed scanner mainly as a contingency. But I agreed it is way too slow to scan a single page. I have been thinking of getting handheld scanner but I thought it isnt that useful. It is good to know the Webcam options but not sure I will need a webcam though. A lot of ozbargain impulse buys :-)
People always look for the number of megapixels, but its not always an indication of quality. I'm guessing that the 3MP gives better low light performance (compared to 5MP) and helps speed up the processing of 1080 video.
The C910 has very good low-light performance - clear colour and low noise. If your guess is correct, the C920 may be even better.
So got a call from thegoodguys to say that there's none in stock and that they're ordering more. Even though when I ordered there was more than 10 available and its still showing 6 available at the moment.
Just got this delivered on Friday. Took their sweet time but it's a great webcam. Especially for multiple people with it's wide angle.
Item specifics section says "HD 720p" yet the description says "1080p high definition". Then underneath that again it says "Video Calling Quality: HD 720p" and why aren't i doing my assignment it's due in 5 hours :(
