365 games is having a January sale at the moment.
I have ordered this game for about AUD$11 just last week.
And some other PS3 games at very low price too, well compare to local shops. Free shipping to Australia.

  • Little Big Planet ain't bad for ~$25.

    • would have bought it except its out of stock for me

    • You can get that price on ebay

      • free shipping?

  • +1

Jb hifi stores have been told to crack down on R2 games (uk), so depending on the store, these games might get rejected if you try to tradebait them in.
Also the knowledge of the customer assistant you have when trading the games in will effect your chances of the trade in success.

Still some good prices, so still a bargain, but to list them as perfect trade bait is not quite acurate.

    • What about with games such as Batman: AA? I'm sure you can try to convinve them that you did purchase them from a retail store in Australia (Gametraders anyone) and hope that works. Sure they still have it's still at their discretion whether to accept or reject the games, but in almost all cases the game is exactly the same (exceptions being edited games such as L4D2, etc.)

      • Games that are only released in the PAL territory as R2 and distributed here are the exception. Basically if it's new on their shelves as a R2 it's fine, otherwise it's really down to chance/luck wether they'll accept them.

        • I thought it had to have australian classification, else they cant sell it.

          Hence they will reject imports.

    • Don't own a PS3, but I thought we were in the same region as the UK for games…

Or… wait… that might have been Blu Ray.

      • Ps3 games arnt locked.
        Only movies have region code.
        And we share Uk.

        • I know the lock isn't implemented, but I thought the games/hardware had regions…

        • No, games also have a region code.
Ever noticed the R4 on the back of locally released games?
The games system follows the DVD system.

Blurays have a new system slitting the world into 3, in which we fall into the same one as the UK. B.

Region coding on games are problematic when trading with JB, as I've mentioned above, and at times with DLC.

If you don't intend on trading in however, region coding for the PS3 is not a problem.

          • @2024: There's no problems with DLC for PS3 games, if you buy the game from the UK. I've bought games from the UK, and had no issues with DLC from the Australian PSN store.

  • Some good deals there! - 15 pounds equal approx $26!
Shame they done have ridge racer 7 - i have been looking for that for ages. Want it cheap :)

    • +1

Keep an eye on game.co.uk pre-owned section. I picked RR7 up from there for AU$14, and every pre-owned game i've picked up from there has been as new condition.

      • aweosome! they have in there for 9.99 GBP thanks mate

      • Do they deliver to AUS? whats delivery charges?

        • +1

Yes. Off the top of my head it's something like 5 pounds, but that's per order. I've grabbed 9 games off them once and it was still only 5 pounds. That still works out cheaper than most online australian stores for post!
Is best to grab a few games at once and the cost spread over the entire order is tiny.

This post was only intended to help out with RR7 and not to distract from the 365games bargains though.

          • @2024: everytime i try order i get this msg……….

Thank you Linton! Because of your comment, I went to Game.co.uk just to browse, and found Mirror's Edge and Wet for cheaper than 365games. And new ones too. Not preowned. Thanks!

  • The Xbox 360 deals look good as well. They should be the same format as AU right? UK uses PAL as well… Am I wrong in assuming this?

    • Yes, you're correct. You'll have no problem playing their games on a PAl xbox.

      • I know this will sound a bit stupid, but these are original games right? I wanna get Mirror's Edge and was about to buy it from Ebgames for 34 last night. But this morning I see it for ~$14 AUD. That's a ridiculously big difference…

        Is there any catch?

        • No catch, Just further evidence that EB is a rip off !!

Buy it and enjoy. The only difference is that you cant take the game home with you as you have to wait for your postie to deliver it to you !

        • Nope, no catch. Just exchange rate and good prices over there work in our favour.
Before you buy mirrors edge you might want to check out kmart if you have one locally. Saw yesterday while I was in there looking for bargains that mirrors edge on the 360 was only $20.

Might be a better option to pick one up locally rather than waiting a week or two for post.

          • @2024: I think I'll just order it from the site. It'll be awesome to pick it up from Kmart if it was the same price. Its a 6-dollar difference. I think I can wait haha. I have Assassin's Creed 2 and Forza 3 to keep me company till Mirror's Edge comes. Thanks a lot for your replies…

            • @ragflan: It's not letting me pay. I keep getting some SQL error. I pay through Paypal and after I check everything and press continue, the site returns some text value says SQL syntax error…

              • +3

@ragflan: I ended up getting Mirror's Edge from Game.co.uk. They have an insane price for the new game. 4.95 pounds. That's like half the price of what 365games has it for. But of course there's the delivery issue which is another 4.95. But, I ordered Wet for Xbox 360 as well and together I paid 24 pounds including delivery. 365games for the same order would have cost 28 pounds.

That's ~$46 for purchasing WET and Mirror's Edge for Xbox 360 from Game UK.

                Ebgames would have cost $85.
Game AU would have cost $123.
                365Games would have cost ~$52

YIPPIE! I love Game UK! And I love Ozbargain!!

        • Comment redundant…

  • yah…earlier this month i got Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box from that website for GBP$15 delivered

seems like they only have the normal version available now though

  • Had a look through and there was some fairly cheap Wii games as well

  • JB Hifi won't do trade in on import games coz they don't have Australian classification.

    • And yet, they still do… :)

      • Really?Which JB?I ask the guy at JB and he said they won't trade in UK games because they have different classification.

  • I'm buying "Disney Sing It Game + Microphones Game PS3" for £12.99 purely for the mics :P

    • very good deal there

just FYI, i can confirm it works with RockBand Beatles

    • -1

You could have bought at the local JBhifi for $19.99.

      • Wasn't that xbox only?

        • Yup. And it was a single wired/USB mic.

This deal appears to be for two.

  • Just bought a copy of Rockband Lego for ~$40. I've wanted this game so much for a while and I was so tempted to grab a copy when JB had it for $69. So glad I waited. Thanks! =)

    • Does anyone get the following error when finalizing their order?

      • I didn't get that exact message but it went to some other error screen whilst confirming with paypal, and i checked at paypal.com and my order hasn't gone through :(

I think I might wait a bit before I try again, just in case it did take the money out.

  • I ordered PS3 Fracture when this deal first hit - it came today. Insanely quick, insanely cheap. Was shocked to find it in the mail box already! Five calender days delivery from UK. Will definitely be perusing their site for more mega bargains.
