Philips S9111 Series 9000 Wet & Dry Shaver $198.40 @ Good Guys eBay

CTREAT20

I just bought this Philip shaver using the eBay code. Seems to be a high end Philips shaver.

Shavershop has it for $299:

Same price in Myer:

Click and collect was available in many stores.

  • Interesting that Shaver Shop has a 3 year warranty and a 60 day money back guarantee, how can Good Guys get away by saying it only has a 1 year warranty. Otherwise a really good price

Actually just saw this link http://www.philips.com.au/content/dam/Australia/promotion/pd… seems that the 60 day trial should also apply for this as well

    • On the box it says 2 year warranty. I am pretty sure 60 days trial is also valid. But I have to confirm.

  • Except it won't…. 'Internet sales via eBay or similar online third party Internet websites are excluded from this offer'

    • Didn't see that point

Its a pretty crappy shaver.. I have the S9711 and it pretty much takes forever to get a decent shave. Even worse than the previous series (sensor touch)

    • My first shave was also like that. It seems I am going to user the 60 day trial offer!

    • Do you just use the shaver or with product?
Was your shave wet or dry?
Super keen to buy a shaver for the kids to give me for fathers day
      Open to any suggestions
      Thanks gents

I used it as dry shave. I have sensitive skin, Braun was no good for me. I had the latest model. This one is too early to say. I know you have to give it a month to see if irritation appears. Overall, I am not impresses, but it might be slightly better than Braun. The price was really good. Don't forget the ebay cash back.

  • Are there any good shavers? I have a Braun 5000 series and I am underwhelmed. The foil struggles to handle some of the angles.

    • The first shave that I had with it was very close, I would say a bit comfortable as well. But it takes a long time to get a decent shave (probably 10 min). I haven't tried the wet shaving yet.

      • Keen for your opinion on this versus other shavers or any recommendations as per above
        Thx mate
