Hi,
looking at possibly getting a manufacturer's refurbished Sony A7s
is it a good idea to buy a manufacturer's refurbished item with 12 month warranty.
I would assume that they replaced all the faulty parts and it work like new

it's like roughly 100-200 cheaper than the second hand rate on ebay but with man refurbished, it should be checked, working and has 12 months warranty
or should I just wait for further price drop?
If it's cheaper than second rate, and given what plmko said below, sounds like a good deal. Never bought a refurbish camera myself though.
My experience with Sony 'refurbished' is a lot of the products are change of mind returns or had a scratch on it and was returned.
How much of a saving is it compared to buying second hand?
With the A7Rii just out, I think there might be quite a few A7S (possibly some still under warranty) put onto the secondhand market (I know I'm debating whether to sell mine or not).
