NSW is a ripoff state, for that amount other states give you the plate for life. Maybe those earning over 60k could add this to their spending list.

A real bargain is someone who is still using the original plate of the car, now complete with road stones stratches, pebble projectile marks, stained with the deaths of a thousand insects and faded colour. But still legal plate. I can't understand why people buy those protectors that cost $30+ though.

I have never seen a personalised number plate where I thought to myself "the owner of this number plate is most certainly not a douchebag"
I have yet to see one that communicates genuine wit and originality instead of inspiring an eye roll from me, usually in reference to tits, arse or similar.
