Polyethylene plastic iceboxes are generally built using Roto-moulded construction methods. This allows for the large components of the icebox to be formed from one piece of polyethylene to reduce the amount of major joins or gaps in the icebox. Roto-moulded plastic coolers tend to have thicker walls which allows for insulation to be inserted into the walls of the icebox and this means greater ice retention.

Roto-moulded polyethylene iceboxes are tough, durable and don’t damage easy. These iceboxes can retain odours so it’s a great idea to give them a good clean after each use. You can expect ice retention from 3-5 days depending on usage and conditions.
