I was wondering if anyone knows how to have fun at the royal Adelaide show without spending heaps like where to get you tickets what to eat and what to ride?

There is normally a cheap day on a random weekday like a tuesday but the tickets are still expensive, take your own food and I believe you can buy credit for rides in advance and save something like 20% but the rides are still extremely overpriced. Stay away from the rides and go to the free shows
pretty much just miss the rides (which most suck anyway) and buy only a few or even no show bags. plenty of free shows and animals and events to see to last you the day.
You can't get a pass out can you?
I actually think you might be able to and hungry jacks is walking distance away

Just watch the animals, dog shows, wood cutting competition and other free shows. Stay around the arena and go for food tasting when you are hungry.
But…if that's what you want, why bother going?
