You are correct. Note 1, 2, 3, 4 user myself, definitely not getting the Note 5. I hope this serves as a wake up call for them.
Optus pricing now - pre-sale from 4pm
time to upgrade from note 3 to 4 or 4 edge, but only if their prices are around $500 :D
or just keep note 3? apart from scratches on the silver frames, mine still good.
i havent even try lollipop on this one. will flash soon.
I personally like using android over iOS (tried both), but I really want to laugh at Samsung in their face… dumb idea to get rid of the micro sd slot… I can live without a removeable batter but the micro sd is kind of better than buying a high storage phone since I can move all my photos from one phone to another simply by swapping the sd card…

Of course it's better to have a microsd slot, but how often does that happen.

Apparently that second slim slot can also be used for a microsd card.
Well, I've swapped phones quite a few times recently because I had to send my Z3 into the shops… so it is indeed useful when you need it.
Apparently that second slim slot can also be used for a microsd card.
based on the article you linked… that doesn't seem to be the case… if anything, i think that rumor was refuted…
There were rumors circling around that the Galaxy Note5 Duos may come with a mixed-use second SIM card slot, which would alternatively accept a microSD card for storage expansion. However, the photo above clearly refutes such claims, showing two regular nano-SIM cutouts in the card tray.
Samsung wants to be Apple and think they can get their fans to pay similar amount of money for their phones, but they will be disappointed greatly, as Samsung fans are not die hard enough like Apple fans and Samsung phone does not hold their value as well as an Iphone. Another thing is in Android, you have a lot of choices, if you like and use IOS, you really don't have a choice and pays whatever ransom price Apple is asking for.
