    I thought it was discontinued but saw it back in Dan Murphys last week so must of had a shortage between batches.

    • Last month at Essendon Fields DM, they said that it's out statewide but is expected to come back sporadically.

    • It was discontinued, but they have bought it back as a limited thing.

  • BTW, here's the link to the actual product page, rather than just an image of it. https://www.1stchoice.com.au/Spirits/johnnie-walker-green-70…

    Extra $5 off

  • CHeap for JW green, but there's plenty of better single malts around that price.

    We were talking to our local DM y'day & they said there are deliver issues on many of their products.

      Such as what?

  • By many accounts, no longer the same JW Green of yore, so don't expect the same taste if that was your drink. I stocked up from Taiwan a few years back where it has never been discontinued but no idea if the current batches in Taiwan are like the ones elsewhere.

      "By many accounts" - Go away troll

      • There is merit in what he's said. I heard the blend isn't the same as the original green. The main 4 malts remain, but others have changed.

        That being said, I've not read any reviews at all, so I can't comment on actual difference in taste. I have a bottle and a half of old green and am unlikely to buy the new limited release.

        • Thank you, nice to have an articulate person respond, even better that you've come to the same conclusion as me.

          Also, didn't think it needed to be stated, but it's pretty easy to use google to find reviews that support what I wrote. You don't have to agree with them, but yes, the accounts are there.

          @adam149: ok mate, you win

  • Got email today and mentioned this as "Limited Release" so knowledge about it has probably now gone wider.
