WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter for FREE (Normally US $39.95)

271

I don't have any Blu-Ray DVDs to try this, but it might be useful to those that do (and don't want to pay for something like AnyDVD).

WinX Blu-ray Decrypter is specially designed to backup Blu-ray movies to your hard drive. With user-friendly interface, this Blu-ray decrypter enables you to easily decrypt and copy Blu-ray movies with Blu-ray DVD drive to your computer by removing all protections from BD video, including encryption (AACS), BD+ copy protection, etc. It is fully compatible with all BD media.

  • I don't have any Blu-ray drives either, but thought best to install now, as unsure if the code will work later.
(the serial provided seems to indicate 31st Dec (xxxx-2009-1216-1231) as the cutoff date, but that could just be the give away time period.)

    • That's what I thought too, but the description on the page proves otherwise:

This offer starts from Dec 19, 2009 and will expire at 12:00am GMT Jan 11, 2010

Q: Will I have to pay to continue to use this "Giveaway" version after Jan 10, 2010?
A: No, you don't need to pay any fee. We're offering WinX Blu-ray Decrypter free for a limited time but the software can be used with no limitations for as long as you'd like.

Perhaps it was initially slated as a 2 week offer but has been extended.

  • I don't have a BD Rom and don't plan on installing it, but any freebie's a good thing (+) in my book!

  • Thanks for this, nice post, cheers!!

  • Awesome!
    Thanks!
Just what I needed for my blu ray drive.

  • Any guinea pigs installed and ripped a disc yet?

Not a lot of background on this company. Seems their DVD ripper got a bit of attention beginning August this year and a few reviews appeared, but can't find any useful info on their Blu-ray software.

  • +1

For the record, the regisration code they tell you to use is:

    Reg Name: Blu-Raygiveaway
    Reg Code: WinXBDD-2009-1216-1231

  • No wonder they're giving this away for free. It needs to be able to re-encode or transcode into another format to be actually be useful in my view. just copying onto the hard disk in its original M2TS format means it will eat up massive hard disk space. Sure we have 1tb HDs now, but a blu-ray disc can still easily be 10gb-20gb.

  • This deal has expired. They are now offering
