Flexicar Car Sharing VIC 1st Yr Membership Waived (Usually $70) + $15 Credits, Save $85

Flexicar is having their free-to-join which happens several times a year ($70 annual fee waived) + 1 hr of driving credits ($15) if on their lowest, PAYG, no commitment plan. Cancel before 1 year is up to not get charged the subsequent $70 annual fee if you find you are not using it.

My opinion is this is the leading car sharing service in Melbourne, VIC. Cars are newer, clean, petrol is included in hourly bookings than Goget. Goget hourly rates cheaper, but does not include kms. Goget is good only for very short distances or for longer term bookings (several days).

I don't even bother with GreenShareCar because they are expensive and lowest plan commits you to at least $50 a month. Link

Rates
Intro plan - no monthly commitment, PAYG only. $14.50 per hr for standard cars, unlimited kms, petrol included. Max per day capped at $89 with 100kms included. ($13.50 is for 'small cars' - not many around). 11pm - 7am counts as '1 hour'. E.g. Want to move house? Rent a Toyota Hiace van from 11pm - 7am and pay only $17.50.

You can change your plan month to month.
