Wondering if anyone has choice membership and willing to let me know if the review for this air con is positive or not?

Thanks much appreciated. It is only $599 so this made it very attractive. It is only for my bedroom so I don't need it be the best. Does it mention noise?
Will check out the mitsubishi
Kelvinator is 26dB, Mitsubishi is 39dB
Kelvinator KSV26HRC is has als better rating and only 17dB
I have nothing to post about the ACs but I think it's wonderful that RobMel has been so helpful.
So a big +1 to RobMel
perhaps open the purse a bit and pay for the content you're after?
choice is independently funded and requires people to become members in order to fund their research - support the system or don't use it
What happens when Choice can't afford to carry out tests because people leech off it instead of supporting it?
It is funded 100% by people like most of us here, who believe that paying for testing and consumer advocacy pays off in the long run.
Hi,
I am sure alwasis will buy Choice membership if he/she is after more than a a high level summary for single product out of a single test.
Consider it free advertising for Choice.
Enjoy your day and smile :)
Choices's ratings for air conditioners (and many other things) are weird. They pay no attention to loudness. Noise is a major consideration for me and, I'm sure, my neighbours. I asked them about it but never got a reply.
At least that was the case when I looked a year or two back when I had a subscription.
Choice is very interesting and is available at the public library.
Hi,
performed with 56% at bottom third (61 tested).
Far better value is : Mitsubishi Heavy SRK20ZMXA-S, only 20% more expensive but with 84% rated number 2.
Cheers
